Since the establishment of CINIC, we have committed to
both our social responsibility and the financial stability of
the company. This core value is commonly shared in our company
and has become the essence of our company culture.
On August 18, 2006, CINIC made its first contribution to the Yunnan Youth Development Foundation
(Project Hope). The donation was used to rebuild a
HOPE primary school in a rural county in Yunnan Province.
CINIC continued to make contributions to the Foundation in 2007
and 2008 and so far four CINIC HOPE Schools have been built and
two are under construction in Yunnan Province. We are committed
to our goal - One School One Year to steadfastly support the
Project
Hope program in China to ensure that more and more under-privileged
children will have an equal opportunity for their education.
Project Hope is a public welfare undertaking, initiated and organized by the China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF), which enlists extensive support from home and abroad to assist dropout students and those at risk of dropping out to continue schooling in China’s rural, poverty-stricken areas.
In April, 2010, CINIC Chemicals donated drinking water to the
schools in Yunnan drought area.
